We’re Claudia and Martin Maran, a devoted couple steering the helm of Redbeck Rabbit Boarding, based out of Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Collectively, our wealth of experience spans years, and covers the caretaking of a diverse array of small critters ranging from rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and hamsters, to rats, reptiles, and birds. Positioned at the heart and soul of the centre, Claudia, a full-time owner and our esteemed founder, is acclaimed for her unrivaled patience, nuanced understanding and unyielding commitment to animal welfare. We invest significant time understanding our little guests, appreciating their unique personalities, and are more than willing to share our insights.
Our mission is to offer an indulgence for small pets, ensuring they experience a luxurious stay in a tranquil, secured, idyllic setting, catered exclusively for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small creatures.
Across varying ages, sizes, disabilities and temperaments, our doors are open to all. Here at Redbeck, we understand just how sensitive and multifaceted our little friends can be, each possessing their own unique character traits.
Set against the backdrop of a spacious private garden, our site prioritizes the holistic health and well-being of our rabbit guests. The place offers an airy, dry and roomy cocoon for their comfort and pleasure.
In terms of culinary accompaniments, we’ve got it covered; every fluffy guest’s dietary needs are individually catered for and included in the boarding price. Our menu boasts ample quantities of high-grade hay, diversified brands of dry foods encompassing Excel, Science Selective, and Pets at Home, along with an assortment of fresh greens, fruits and healthy treats.
We kindly request all rabbit owners to ensure your pets are appropriately vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhage Disease (VHD 1 & 2). This essential preventative measure is for their safety, as well as the wellbeing of our other guests.
Upon reservation, please provide us with a copy of the veterinary vaccination certificate.
Do note, if you plan to bring guinea pigs or other rodents, there is no need for vaccination records.
Additionally, a comprehensive health examination will be conducted for each pet upon their arrival.

Because so many so called ‘professionals ‘ are not formally qualified the Animal Care College* created this Register where you can be assured that those listed have an externally, recognised accredited qualification so are knowledgeable and have experience.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a charity operating in England and Wales that promotes animal welfare. The RSPCA is funded primarily by voluntary donations. Redbeck Rabbit Boarding are active sponsors of this charity.
Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund (RWA&F) encourage people to keep companion rabbits in conditions that meet their physical and behavioural needs They offer education in the care and ownership of companion rabbits.
RWAF does not endorse any Boarding Centres but Redbeck Rabbit Boarding does support and endeavour to follow their advice and guidance.
