FAQs

What are your working hours?
I am available 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week.
Morning appointments – 9am to 11am
Lunch appointments – 11am to 2pm
Afternoon appointments – 2pm to 5pm
Evening appointments – 5pm to 9pm
If you would like me to visit at a specific time, just let me know and I will check my availability.

Why should I choose a sitter over alternative options?
Pets are much more comfortable in their own homes. Whether it is a midday visit whilst you are at work or daily visits for 2 weeks whilst you are on holiday, your pet will be much happier being able to relax in their own home than being transported and left somewhere different.
Pets often get stressed with car journeys or being locked in a carrier therefore me being the one to travel to them, makes for much happier pets. It is also easier for you as you don’t have to drop them off or pick them up at any particular time.

How do I make a booking?
To make a booking, just get in contact. I will take some basic details from you and check my availability.

What if I need to cancel?
Please let me know ASAP if you need to cancel your booking. YouΒ  can cancel within 2 weeks of the start of your booking at no cost,Β  And if a cancellation is made within 3 days of the start of your booking, the full payment will be due.
The reason for my cancellation policy is because I am often fully booked and will have to turn others away to fulfil your booking.

Do I get to meet you before you take care of my pet?
Absolutely! Before your service starts, I will come to your home to meet you and your pets. I’ll ask lots of questions so I know as much about your pets as possible and know how to care for their specific needs.

Are you insured and DBS checked?
I certainly am.Β  I came from an insurance background so I understand the importance of having valid and comprehensive insurance.
I also have a clean DBS check.
I bring along both my insurance certificate and my DBS check to every meet and greet in case you would like to see them.

Are you pet first aid trained?
I have completed multiple pet first aid courses. I bring the certificates along with me to the meet and greets in case you would like to see them.

Do you give updates when you are taking care of my pets?
My standard is to send daily updates if you are away. If you prefer updates more often or less often, just let me know. If your pet allows a photo, I will also send this so you can see your pet is happy.
If the service is a drop in or walk whilst you are at work or just away for the day, I like to send a quick update to let you know they are happy. Again, if you would prefer me not to, just let me know.
